The Convent de Sant Andreu, featured in SEGRE

The recovery project of the Convent de Sant Andreu, in Sant Guim de Freixenet, continues to move forward, this time with a new appearance in the media.

The newspaper SEGRE has dedicated an article to the architectural complex, highlighting its transformation into a future space for film shoots, events, culture and rural accommodation. Under the headline “The old convent of a village in Lleida will be revived as a film set: we fell in love with it”, the newspaper tells the story of this project led by Shoot Estudios and the rehabilitation process that is already underway.

The article explains how this complex, made up of the former convent, the Baroque church and the ruins of Sant Guim Vell castle, was acquired by Shoot Estudios in 2022 with the aim of bringing it back to life and turning it into a unique space linked to the audiovisual, cultural and experiential worlds.

The first phase of the works focuses on the recovery of the church, with the reconstruction of the roof and the vault, a key intervention to halt its deterioration and open the door to new cultural, private and corporate uses in the coming years.

For us, seeing this project reflected in media such as SEGRE is a great joy and also a way of sharing the journey we are on: recovering a place with history, respecting its essence and projecting it towards the future.

A place we fell in love with from the very first moment and that, little by little, is awakening once again.
